The scene here isn’t based on any specific house styles, that’s why most of the local clubs play the tracks which are very popular around the whole world, including the hottest tracks from the Beatport charts. There are few places available where you will hear nothing else than some good quality tech house or techno.
Here are some tunes that are rocking out at the moment:
Loui & Scibi Vs. Jacob A. - Stop The Time (Original Mix)
David Penn feat. Lisa Millett - Join Us (DJ Bee Old School Remix)
Jask feat. Jocie - Beautiful (Coqui Selection Remix)
Storm Queen - Look Right Through (MK Don't Talk To Me Dub)
International DJ Scene:
I went to We Love To Love at Szczecin. The event was targeted at both Trance and House fans, Marcus Schossow and Francesco Diaz were headlining and pleased the crowd with their new productions and the best picks from their latest playlists.
The venue was divided into two rooms: ENERGY and GROOVE. Energy was the most crowded during the whole night because of the trance DJs who were rocking the audience. The stage was established inside the club, which was probably one of the main reasons why the attendance was high, but the main reason was because Marcus Schossow was playing there where he dropped tunes from the likes of Hardwell and Tiesto. GROOVE stage was very housey and funky while everyone waited for the headliner Francesco Diaz who played big Beatport hits like David Guetta’s Titanium (Alesso Remix), Can’t Stop Me by Afrojack & Shermanology and Calling by Sebastian Ingrosso & Alesso. The next DJ who appeared after Diaz was Da Hool, whose set was very similar to Francesco's.
Every week my local scene brings new experiences for the people who live there. Last month I went to Rokoko Café for several parties where our local DJs Juicy Jay and JackD were serving tech house beats. Most of the clubs around my area are small and very cozy and the people I meet are very friendly. It makes it such a nice atmosphere.
Juicy Jay is a very talented young man who has been connected with house music since 2005. He is based in Słupsk, Poland and makes groovy tech house tunes, some of which are already released on Sentence Of House, Koto Records, Triple Recordings, Kore Music, Dum a Dum Records. His inspirations come from the best quality DJs such as Joris Voorn, Redondo, Supernova, Hector Couto, Ronan Portela, Karol XVII, MB Valence, Maya Jane Coles, Kaiserdisco and Kruse & Nuernberg.
Juicy Jay's productions Pure Pleasure/Gotta Be Now EP will be out on Gramma Records very soon. His track One Soul is currently unsigned and represents a very unique groovy sound.
Zedd is one of these young and fresh producers who seem to be very busy and successful at the moment. His electro groove has brought us many great releases lately and this one suits perfectly to his list.
Im really diggin' tracks like this one. Very energetic electro, not trashy or too heavy, with a slight compromise.
