Name: Graham Sahara
Location: Ibiza, Spain
Occupation: Resident Dj @ Pacha And Km5, Label Manager Seamless Recordings, Radio Presenter Ibiza Global Radio
Bio: I am a resident DJ at Pacha here on the beautiful sunny island that is IBIZA! I´ve been working here as a DJ for the last 15 years and have played/visited pretty much every venue here. Almost everyone in the world knows about this island, and much has been said about it already, I am going to be giving you all the insider info as to what’s hot, what’s new and the general low down on all things Ibiza style.
There are some big tracks in Ibiza at the moment. Now it’s after summer so it becomes a lot more underground on the island, as the majority of people who go out have all been working or are used to being in the club scene in the summer, so they know their music. So here are my top 5:
Mendo, Andre Butano - Gringo (Original Mix) Cadenza
Vaggio - Don't You Want Some More (Original Mix) Ovum
Tuccillo - Sandbell (Original Mix) Defected
Butch - Drummers Drama (Original Mix) Rekids
Huxley - Take No More (Original Mix) Tsuba
International DJ Scene:
This month we had Simon Dunmore from Defected playing alongside Shovell and Andy Baxter in Pacha which was the start of their bi-monthly winter events in Pacha. It was a busy and really good night with Simon Dunmore laying some excellent slices of vocal house Defected-style. We also had Audiofly in Bubbles, a new island hotspot, which was packed and rocking in traditional Ibiza style. There will be other small guest spots for other artists later on this winter.
In the winter time it’s mostly about the island residents, and Pacha features DJs from the island whilst also giving each DJ from the Pacha Agency their own night on rotation on Saturdays. There are smaller venues on the island such as Grial, Bubbles, Shardana´s and other small places where you can catch local heroes such as Nano Vergel, David & Toni Moreno, System of Survival amongst many others. These are the venues where the “in-the-know” crowd hang out and check out the latest underground Ibiza vibes.
Well, for me this edition sees me with the return of my wintertime night in Pacha, following on from last winter’s party called “The Return of the Amazing Graham Sahara”, where I get my turn in the spotlight in one the worlds most glamorous clubs. It also sees more releases coming from me with my track with Central Avenue - Drives Me Crazy which is doing well on the charts of Beatport and with more studio projects completed for Seamless Recordings and Pacha Recordings.

Strictly’s hot new release for me this fall would be Tom Flynn - Opera House. This singles release has three excellent mixes to choose from depending on what you like more. The Original Mix is an excellent house track with a great bounce whilst remaining quite hypnotic. It has an excellent groove and works a treat on the dance floor. The second mix comes from James Talk, which keeps it deep with a techy feel, which will appeal to lovers of Steve Lawler and Nic Fancuilli. The last mix comes from Kaiserdisco. Their mix has probably the happiest feel of all the mixes. It flows with an awesome groove which is driven by upwardly rolling bassline. This release is for heads of the house scene.
