My Scene
Clubs: We’ve got a few really decent clubs with Fuse (still a leading force in Techno music) and Libertine / Supersport being the main ones but there’s also Mirano, Wood, Madame Moustache, Wax Club and more. A big part of the nightlife happens in bars (Bar Du Matin, Maison Du Peuple, Café Belga) or at parties all around the city (Leftorium, High Needs Low, Strictly Niceness, Our Party).
If you leave town you can find killer parties or clubs in Antwerp (Stereo Sushi, Café d’Anvers, Rhythmanin’), Ghent (We Play House, What’s Cookin’, Decadance), Leuven (clubSTUK, Silo) Ostend ((Krush Club) or Liege (Superfly).
DJ’s: There are also lots of great local DJ’s such as Geoffroy Mugwump, Red D, San Soda, Lefto, L-Fêtes, Kwak, Rick Shiver, Phonetics, Kid Strike, … and Onda Sonora Soundsystem of course.
Strictly Scene
As guys who grew up on Strictly Rhythm we love the fact that lots of the older releases are available again. Aly-Us’ - Follow Me or 52/d" target="_blank">George Morel’s - Let’s Groove are still played regularly in our sets. So we hope that’ll be extended as we are still missing a fair few gems from the SR back catalogue. On the other hand it’s nice to see new releases by MdCL and Ben Westbeech. Really looking forward to what the latter will bring.
