Acid house king Todd Terry returns to the UK Dance scene with a bang sure to be heard the world over. Primed and ready to drop is his new mix album Strictly - Todd Terry, an amalgamation of classic Strictly Rhythm beats and contemporary tracks which is a must for any self respecting music lover's collection. The album, as well as a forthcoming single release 'Get Down' which has kicked up a storm in Ibiza this summer, means that everyone interested in dance music and its culture is welcoming with open arms the return of one of the most prolific artists in House.

'Todd the God', they named him. In the late 80s, Todd Terry WAS New York house music. Arguably he invented it, certainly he defined it. In truth, the moniker was probably coined by a deadline-surfing journalist searching for a quick headline. However, it stuck, because Todd Terry bestrode the scene like a colossus. Still stuck firm today, he tries to live up to the label as modestly as he can: "The 'Todd The God' label it's a good thing for me, it keeps me going, it keeps me living up to it, I always have to come out with a new great record and I always have to play a great DJ set". Todd Terry.

Todd has remained an international producer and DJ icon throughout the naughties, producing records and playing to star-struck crowds around the world. He now returns to the shelves with his first compilation on the newly reborn label. A double mix album which features many of Strictly Rhythm classics such as 'Morels Groove 4', Colonel Abrhams – 'Victims of Loving' and CLS – 'Can You Feel It' (not to be confused with Royal House). This is not just a retrospective album, far from it. Look out for Todd's new projects 'Play On' and 'Get Down' which see him working with the infamous 'My My My' vocalist Tara McDonald. Both are sure to be big chart successes worldwide. Other highlights include the retro sounding Marlon D – 'Jesus Creates Sound', and the tracky dance floor number Grand high Priest – 'My Guitar'.

This CD is also available unmixed in a three CD Digi Pack for all those DJ that would like to emulate the masters style and own some of his infinite record collection.
