Many tried but few succeeded in remixing the New Jersey boys’ definitive uplifting house music anthem until Full Intention came up with the genius wheeze of auto-tuning the vocals for their 2001 remixes.

Luckily for all of us, our anniversary remixers have the benefit of their foresight; the implausibly cool Fred Everything and Olivier Desmet mould the classic harmonies into an unlikely but enjoyable dreamy groove using some of the original piano parts while Italy’s Mauritzio has a similarly laid-back approach. Meanwhile that other pair of Jersey boys, Harry Choo Choo & Jose Nunez, take a tougher stance with a caffeine-fuelled brace of electronic bangers.
