Label History / Biography
In todays music industry, it's often hard to stand out. More often than not, the labels are looking for artists to sign rather than the other way around - this may very well be a result of the digitalization of our society, but fact is, at these times you're almost tempted to state that there's more digital labels out there hoping to make it than artists - which is exactly why quality and high standards today matters much more than just a few years ago when it comes to both electronic music and those who release it.
Agape, brainchild of swedish DJ Thomas Sagstad and latest offspring of the Strictly Rhythm family (who also fostered legends such as Erick Morillo, Armand van Helden and ATFC) meets the very high standards and expectations needed to surprise and awe the modern cluber.
Inspired by the origin of house music and with roots deep in New York, Miami and Stockholm, Agape delivers exactly what lacks in most other modern labels; soul.
We believe in music: The label already features some of the most talented names from Scandinavia who's gained wide support on their releases by a plethora of big DJ's, as well as the big league of the very DJ's and producers who currently rule the world of house.
We all exist in a common love for house music, and way too often is this overseen when it comes down to the one single person who makes it all possible; the clubber.
