What is your earliest musical memory?

My earliest musical mom had just picked me up from preschool and Whitney Houston's "Greatest Love of All" came onto the radio.  I remember being amazed and inspired by her voice.

Tell us about your first ever DJ gig/live performance...

My first real live performance was when I was about 16.  I performed at this music festival at the Waikiki Shell in Honolulu.  I sang a duet with another local singer.  It was a great night.

Who or what inspired you to start a career in music?

I've been singing since I was about two years old so I never had any doubts that I would be a singer.  My family has always been incredibly supportive so I guess they're encouragement and love is what inspired me to really go for it.

What do you consider to be your greatest professional achievement?

Making music that people from all over the world enjoy, is what I consider to be my greatest professional achievement.

Any advice for budding young stars..?

My advice to young stars is to be yourself.  This is a crazy business and there will be ups and downs with a lot of things that are out of your control. If you are true to yourself and try your hardest then no matter what happens, you can always be proud of what you've done.
